We go to great lengths to ensure our wool products are of the highest quality, and that means treating our wool and the environment with care. Since we don't use acids to burn out vegetation, you may find small bits that you will want to remove during the felting process. We also don't use superwashing methods, ensuring our wool maintains natural characteristics that are perfect for felting.

Custom Woolen Mills carded wool is ideal for both wet felting and needle felting.
Using the woollen milling system, our carded wool is brushed, not combed, creating an unbroken web with fibres travelling in all directions. This characteristic significantly aids in the laying-out process of wet-felt making and quickens the felting process in needle-felt making.
