Description
Made from 100% Suffolk or Charlais wool, the Wool Quilting Batts are lofty with lots of spring, making them ideal for use in quilts, mattress pads and pillows. They can also be used as wool stuffing or for spinning. Suffolk wool can have undertones of grey fibre in the white fleece, giving the batts an offwhite or slightly grey appearance, but never so much that it will show through fabric.
The batts are approximately 60 inches x 62 inches in dimension and weigh 1 lb. Prices is per lb.
We recommend using fabric with a thread count of 180 or higher when quilting with wool batts to ensure no wool fibres migrate through your fabric.
