Description

Made from the finest, hand-selected, Merino and Rambouillet fleeces, the Wool Wet Felting Batts are ideal for use in wet-felt making.

The batts are one to two inches thick and are composed of multiple layers of thin fibre web that can be separated and peeled away to achieve your desired felt thickness and weight. Each batt weighs approximately 1 lb. They are available in our full spectrum of colors. Price is per lb.

Sizing

Our sock sizes correspond to men's shoe sizes or are slightly smaller. If you like your socks loose, you may want to pick the next size up. Most men tend to fit into sizes 10-12 or 13-15. Most women tend to fit into sizes 4-6 or 7-9. If your foot size is right on the upper border of a size range, we would recommend getting the next size up. This makes them a bit more forgiving when it comes to washing.

Sock Care

To keep your Custom Woolen Mills socks in tip-top condition, machine wash them gently and hang to dry to prevent shrinkage.

Proper fitting shoes have a huge impact on how your socks will wear. If you find you get holes in your socks quickly, you may want to assess how your shoes fit. In the meantime, we have a handy tutorial on how to darn socks.
