Prairie Sea Fusion 100% Wool Yarn - Sheep Shade Cones

We are pleased to offer the yarn Prairie Sea Fusion. Developed in co-operation with Salish Fusion Knitwear, a West Coast company dedicated to preserving the exceptional quality and long tradition of authentic Coast Salish knitting in the modern world. It is a heavy Soft Spun yarn made with 100% pure new Canadian wool to match the characteristics of traditional hand-spun Coast Salish yarn. Learn more about it in our blog.

In cones, the Prairie Sea Fusion is available in our five natural sheep shade colours. The Natural Sheep Shades can be paired with Naturally Dyed Prairie Sea Fusion if you want to introduce a hint of colour to your work.

Price is per 1lb cone.

There are approximately 300 yd or 274 m per 453 gms / 1 lb cone. For knitting, we recommend 6mm needles.

This is a Bulky weight yarn according to the Craft Yarn Council's Yarn Standard. You can find their simple guide to yarn weights here.

Please note: due to the small batch nature of our yarns, colour pooling can occur (though we work very hard to avoid it). When knitting large swatches of a single colour, we recommend introducing a new cone of yarn slowly by alternating cones row for row.
