Description

The CWM x MacAuslands 100% Wool Woven Blanket is a celebration of Canadian textile industry and hertiage. Wool shorn from Custom Woolen Mills own coloured wool flock was carded and spun here at CWM, then shipped accross the country to MacAuslands Woollen Mill in Bloomfield, Prince Edwards Island- the only remaining woolen mill in Atlantic Canada still producing traditional 100% wool blankets.

A fifth and sixth generation family business, MacAuslands first started producing wool yarn in 1902, and later wool blankets in 1932. Over the century of operations, the MacAusland's Blanket has built a name and reputation that speaks for itself- one of enduring quality and craftmanship. Like Custom Woolen Mills, it is one of only a few remaining vertical woolen mills still operating in Canada.

The CWM x MacAuslands 100% Wool Woven Blanket is available in Two Colourways: Grey Stripe and Black Stripe, and Two Sizes:

Double: approximately 193cm x 228cm; 76 inches x 90 inches

Queen: approximately 193cm x 264cm; 76 inches x 104 inches

Care Instructions
Hand / Spot wash as needed, wool can be overwashed.
When needed:
1) Cold - cool water on a gentle cycle
2) Mild detergent / wool rinse
3) Hang over line / bannister or reshape and lay flat to dry

Our Prairie Wool Sock Guide

When choosing socks, the Original Wool Socks are the warmest, the White Wool Mohair Socks are the softest, and the Hard Workin' Wool/Nylon Socks are the most durable.

Sizing

Our sock sizes correspond to men's shoe sizes or are slightly smaller. If you like your socks loose, you may want to pick the next size up. Most men tend to fit into sizes 10-12 or 13-15. Most women tend to fit into sizes 4-6 or 7-9. If your foot size is right on the upper border of a size range, we would recommend getting the next size up. This makes them a bit more forgiving when it comes to washing.

Sock Care

To keep your Custom Woolen Mills socks in tip-top condition, machine wash them gently and hang to dry to prevent shrinkage.
