Here we go, another year comes to a close. The promise of a new decade awaits us just around the corner, with 2020 visions of mitten thrums and madder dyed sweaters and fine lace-knit throws.
2019 was a year that saw us host many fun activities, such as the Summer Solstice Slow Food Calgary Dinner and Alberta Open Farm Days. We reached some really exciting milestones in the mill too, such as releasing naturally dyed yarn options in our Soft Spun Yarns. We want to thank you, our friends and supporters for joining us at these events and sharing your enthusiasm for the things we do here at the mill. It is really a pleasure to get to work with and for so many people who value the practice of crafting tangible things to be used everyday - knitters, weavers, crocheters, felters, saddle pad makers - folks who hang on to, learn, and promote real world skills.
We're closing down today until January 2nd, 2020 for our annual shut-down holiday. We wish you all a warm, happy, relaxing holiday season doing the things you like to do and enjoying the company of the people you like to hang out with! See you in the New Year!
