Description
The Mule Spinner 2-Ply 70% Alpaca yarn is made with 70% Alpaca fibre and 30% Merino Wool making it exceptionally soft.
It is available in natural Alpaca colours. Price is per 4oz skein.
There are approximately 198m or 216 yd per 112 gms / 4oz skein. For knitting, we recommend 4mm to 5mm needles.

Please note: due to the small batch nature of our yarns, colour pooling can occur (though we work very hard to avoid it). When knitting large swatches of a single colour, we recommend introducing a new skein of yarn slowly by alternating skeins row for row.

I knit a pair of cabled mittens with the Alpaca blend, in my case 60/40 blend. The yarn is soft, warm and delightfully fluffy. It handled some frogging very well and takes dye like nobody's business. I will knit a lot more with this yarn.
